Kairo is a puzzle exploration game. You travel the world of Kairo, trying to move forward and get to the next door… and the next… and the next.
The graphics are simple – smooth and coloured walls will keep you company. It gives the game a cold and sinister feel. I felt small and lost, running around in large buildings, trying to get out.
You have no inventory, no set of tools to help you out. Instead you unlock your surroundings by how and where you move and what you do. It’s a very unnerving and immersive experience.
It is difficult to explain this game without saying too much. But playing Kairo, I felt like I was the last person in the world, trying desperately to find my way out of a complex I was not meant to be in. If you like first-person explorations games, you should play this one.
